kursikembimit.al is an Albanian platform that brings together the exchange rates of the Bank of Albania, commercial banks and exchange offices in one place, so that anyone, individual or business, can quickly find the right rate.

Our mission

Exchanging money is an everyday decision for many families, emigrants, students, travellers and businesses. Until recently, finding the best rate meant visiting each bank’s website one by one. Our mission is to make Albania’s currency exchange market transparent, comparable and easy to understand for everyone.

What we offer

  • Today’s rates: the Bank of Albania’s official rate, the InfoEuro reference rate and the buy and sell rates of commercial banks and exchange offices.
  • Best rate: the highest buy and lowest sell rate for each currency, right now.
  • Currency converter: work out how many lek you receive or pay at any bank’s rate.
  • History: daily charts and tables going back to 2020, with CSV export.
  • Statistics: the monthly average, minimum, maximum and volatility of the official rate.
  • Email alerts: find out when a rate changes or crosses a threshold you set.

Where the data comes from

Rates are collected automatically from the institutions’ own official websites. Our system checks them every 30 minutes, keeps the history and records the date and time of each rate’s latest update. If a source can’t be updated, we notice right away, and we publish the status of every source on the data status page.

We track the Bank of Albania, InfoEuro (European Commission), the main commercial banks and exchange offices. The full list is on the Banks page.

Our independence

kursikembimit.al is an independent information service. We are not a bank or financial institution, we don’t exchange currency, and no bank pays for its ranking or to appear higher. Comparisons are based solely on the data institutions publish.

Rates are for information only. The final rate is the one the bank applies at the moment of your transaction, so for significant amounts we recommend confirming it with the bank.

For developers and businesses

If you need rates inside an app, accounting system or website, we offer an API with an access key, an embeddable widget and RSS/JSON feeds. See the FAQ for details.

Who we are

kursikembimit.al is developed and run by Magus Group Albania, a team building digital products for the Albanian market.
