These terms govern the use of kursikembimit.al and its services (the converter, history, alerts, API, widget and feeds). By using the site, you accept these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the service.
1. The service
kursikembimit.al, developed and run by Magus Group Albania, collects and publishes the exchange rates of the Bank of Albania, InfoEuro, commercial banks and exchange offices in Albania, and provides comparison and calculation tools.
2. Informational nature of the data
- Rates are collected automatically from the institutions’ official websites and are published for information only.
- The rate that applies to a transaction is the one the institution applies at that moment. Banks may apply different rates for cash, transfers, cards or large amounts.
- kursikembimit.al is not a bank or financial institution, doesn’t exchange currency and doesn’t give financial, investment or tax advice.
3. Accuracy and availability
We make every effort to keep the data accurate and up to date, but the service is provided “as is”. We don’t guarantee that rates will always be error-free, complete or available without interruption, as they also depend on the source institutions’ websites. For significant amounts, check the rate directly with the institution.
4. Permitted use
- You may use the site for personal and professional information purposes.
- You may quote rates in articles, analysis, social media or answers, linking to kursikembimit.al as the source.
- You may use the widget and the RSS/JSON feeds unmodified, keeping the link back to the source.
5. Prohibited use
You may not:
- collect data from the pages automatically or in bulk (scraping, aggressive crawling, systematic copying) outside the official API;
- bypass security measures such as Cloudflare Turnstile checks, request limits or blocks;
- deliberately overload the server, attack or interfere with the service;
- republish the data as a competing service, or present it as a bank’s official data without citing the source;
- share, sell or publish API keys;
- use the service in any way that breaks applicable law or the rights of others.
We may limit or block access for anyone who breaks these rules, without prior notice.
6. API, widget and feeds
- API access uses a personal key issued after a request and approval. The key is confidential, and you are responsible for its use.
- Each key has request limits. We may change limits, or suspend or revoke keys in case of abuse or breach of these terms.
- Additional terms, including commercial ones, may apply under a separate agreement.
7. Email alerts
Alerts are sent only after you confirm your email address. You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every email. For how we process data, see the Privacy policy.
8. Intellectual property
The design, code, texts, graphics, logo and data compilation on kursikembimit.al belong to Magus Group Albania unless stated otherwise. Bank and institution names and logos belong to their respective owners and are used for identification only.
9. Links to other sites
The site links to the websites of institutions and third parties. We are not responsible for their content, accuracy or policies.
10. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Magus Group Albania is not liable for direct or indirect losses or damages arising from use of the published data, from financial decisions made on that basis, or from temporary unavailability of the service.
11. Changes
We may change these terms or the service itself at any time. The date of the latest update is shown at the top of the page, and continuing to use the service after changes means you accept them.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Albania. Any dispute that can’t be settled amicably will be heard by the competent court in Tirana.
